What was the highlight of Koh Hai Fantasy Resort & Spa
Peace and quiet
Beach location is amazing, we could see the ocean from our room. The meals were very good, including some vegetarian. It is more expensive than mainland but seemed fair because everything needs to be brought in. Some fruits and vegetables are grown on the island and it'd be cool to promote this.
Because of the high and low tide, the best swimming is mid-day when it's very sunny (we were there in summer). The pool should be open earlier and later (7-9 instead of 9-7). There are fewer boat trips available late in the season, but we did have a wonderful time on a private boat, and all the boat rides are fun and have amazing scenery.

I would come back again
The staff were extremely helpful. I had a couple of housekeeping issues and both were sorted within 5 minutes. The boat dropped you off on the beach right outside the resort. The water was so crisp and blue.
The property was a little tired but cleanliness is so important to me and this was perfect.

Resort on beach, good position. Very good sandy beach, good swimming when tide was in. Good breakfast buffet style. Eggs cooked any way you like. Room good size, towels changed everyday.. Bed firm, pillow soft. Pool ok but no sun in the afternoon. Nice resort, friendly staff and excellent views.
didn't like 10% .service charge + 7% VAT on all bills. Plenty of other resorts to have a drink and a meal.
