What was the highlight of Koh Hai Fantasy Resort & Spa
Peace and quiet
Beach location is amazing, we could see the ocean from our room. The meals were very good, including some vegetarian. It is more expensive than mainland but seemed fair because everything needs to be brought in. Some fruits and vegetables are grown on the island and it'd be cool to promote this.
Because of the high and low tide, the best swimming is mid-day when it's very sunny (we were there in summer). The pool should be open earlier and later (7-9 instead of 9-7). There are fewer boat trips available late in the season, but we did have a wonderful time on a private boat, and all the boat rides are fun and have amazing scenery.

Great location in Ko Ngai. Very clean rooms. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. You can easily book ferris and transfers via the hotel's reception desk.
The furniture in the garden rooms is a bit old and rundown. No view from the windows in the back rooms. It wasn't a real problem but people should be aware that this is more of a family resort (there were many children) than a romantic getaway for couples nor a hangout for young singles.

Rooms looked old and a renovation would be good A/C was pretty loud Price was high compared to other hotels/appartments, but i guess normal for resorts
